Roketsan Presents its Prominent Products of the National Technology Initiative at SAHA EXPO

Roketsan, one of the leading companies of the National Technology Move shaping the future of Türkiye, is taking its place at SAHA EXPO, International Defence and Aerospace Exhibition, which opened its doors at the Istanbul Expo Center between 22-26 October, with its state-of-the-art products and expert staff.

The excitement of SAHA EXPO, organized by SAHA Istanbul, the largest industrial cluster in Türkiye and Europe, under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye and with the participation and support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of National Defence, the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the Ministry of Trade, the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye Secretariat of Defence Industries and other civilian and military public institutions, has begun.

Roketsan, which took its place at SAHA EXPO, one of the most important exhibitions in Türkiye in the fields of defence and aerospace, which opened its doors with the slogan “Touch The Game Changing Technologies”, brings dozens of products from UCAV ammunition to anti-tank and missile systems to the participants.

More than 1,200 companies and over 150,000 visitors from more than 124 countries have registered for SAHA EXPO 2024, where Roketsan has undertaken the “Opening Ceremony Sponsorship”. Roketsan also aims to sign new collaborations with the meetings it will hold at the exhibition, where more than 550 official and commercial delegations are expected to attend by the last day.

Mr. İkinci, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Roketsan, said: “With SAHA EXPO, we have the opportunity to showcase our products to the whole world”

Murat İkinci, the CEO of Roketsan, commenting on their participation at SAHA EXPO 2024, said: “SAHA EXPO, one of Türkiye's largest defence, aerospace industry organizations, is a showcase where our National Technology Initiative is shown to the whole world. In the past, Türkiye was an importer in the defence industry, now with the SAHA EXPO we have the opportunity to closely introduce and explain the power of Türkiye, which is moving towards full independence and becoming a country that exports its products to the world. As Roketsan, we also successfully fulfil our duty, export our products from Europe to Asia, from America to Africa.”

Emphasizing that Roketsan took its place at SAHA EXPO with many of its state-of-the-art products, as in previous years, Mr. İkinci said: “This exhibition, where we have the opportunity to introduce our products to national and foreign participants and come together with the wide ecosystem of SAHA Istanbul, hosts important developments and new collaborations for us. With SAHA EXPO, we have the opportunity to showcase our products, each of which bears the signature of our Turkish engineers, to the world. As one of the world's 100 largest defence industry companies, we aim to sign new collaborations at SAHA EXPO, where we participate with a large stand and strong staff. On this occasion, I would like to invite all SAHA EXPO participants to explore our missile and ammunition systems, which are a source of pride for Türkiye.

Roketsan is exhibiting nearly 30 of its products with participants at SAHA EXPO. Roketsan is exhibiting the following munitions at its stand: MAM-C, MAM-T and MAM-T IIR, the striking force of UCAV and members of the Smart Gliding Munition Family; CİRİT Laser-Guided Missile; KARAOK Short-Range Anti-Tank MissileOMTAS Medium-Range Anti-Tank Missile System; UMTAS Long-Range Anti-Tank Missile System; TEBER-82 Guidance Kit; LAÇİN Guidance Kit; National Vertical Launcher System (MİDLAS); ÇAKIR Cruise Missile; ATMACA Anti-Ship Missile; SOM Stand-Off Missile; SUNGUR Air Defence Missile System; HİSAR Air Defence Missiles; SİPER Long-Range Air and Missile Defense System; UAV-230 Air-to-Surface Ballistic Supersonic Missile; AKYA Next-Generation Heavyweight Torpedo and ORKA Next-Generation Lightweight Torpedo.
